Brooklyn von Bleck is a beautiful 5 year old Shepherd mix with a medium energy level. Her previous owner was forced to give her up because she came upon hard times. She told us that Brooklyn is housebroken and great with both kids and cats. She responds to basic commands and immediately perks up her ears when she hears her favorite word -- “walk,” because canvassing the neighborhood on leash is one of the highlights of her day. Only now is Brooklyn getting exposed to other canines; she enters the playgroup cautiously, slowly accepting respectful dogs while warning pushy types to keep their distance. Although she is a little shell shocked and confused after losing her home, she is slowly adjusting to meeting new people and new situations.
